Abel Reels, along with our other products, are produced in Camarillo, California, United States of America. Not that we haven't been tempted to shuffle offshore. The wages we pay, insurance, workers comp, electric rates and every other cost of doing business have grown exponentially in recent years. But if we contracted to Chinese sources, what would happen to our 40-plus employees? What would become of our quality, our integrity? We might as well be the last of a dying breed. We produce every part, even every screw, ourselves. When we engrave Made in the USA on a reel, we mean it. Abel reels have many custom finishes and engravings available. Although Anglers All does not stock any custom Abel reels, we will be happy to order any custom items you want.
