With an incredible amount of water to fish
in June and July, the toughest part of fishing here is deciding where to go!
Unlike the more popularized fall trips,
these rivers, during the summer season, are all virtually uncrowded. This time of year is like one huge Salmon festival, 5
species of sea-bright wild fish are making there way up the Skeena and its tributaries.
The guides at this lodge specialize
in the use of two handed spey rods, and are expert in casting instruction.
The days are long and eventful, the fish
fight hard and the weather is perfect for fishing with temperatures averaging in the mid 70's with some days possibly reaching
90! Hopping in the jet boat behind the Lodge and running the Skeena in search of runs of fish is an incredible
way to spend the day. Floating or jet boating the tributaries can be phenomenal!
