SPEY
CASTING CLASSES

SIMON GAWESWORTH
Simon Gawesworth, a key member of the Rio Products team. Originally
from England, he is an expert spey caster and has been instructing for over 20 years.
The two day class will start with the basics the first day and move on to more advanced techniques the second day. Simon will give you all the tools you need to perfect your spey casting form. He covers single spey, double spey, snake roll, and snap-t. He will also share tips and tricks that enable you to do more with your spey rod.
Who is Spey Casting for: Spey casting is not just for the fly fisherman fishing the famous,
and not so famous, Salmon and Steelhead rivers. It is a great way to fish for those big trout on rivers like the lower
Colorado.
Dates: Every April Anglers All is proud to present
Simon's Spey Casting classes. These classes fill up very quickly so please call as soon as possible to reserve a space
in the next class. Note: These classes often fill before the end of the year.
Class
Size: Minimum number of students will be 4 and the maximum will be 8.
Equipment: Many manufacturers of
spey rods and reels supply their products for use in the class. Please let us know if you will using your own equipment
or need loaners.
Note: You will need your own pair of waders, sunglasses,
and appropriate clothing in case of weather changes. If you need waders please
ask us about rental waders.
Time: Classes run all day (usually 9am-4pm).
Lunch is furnished each day.
